Launch Information

We will be launching out of Marine Park Way Launch,  just east of I-5.   The launch site was changed from Camas to Marine Park Way at the June club meeting.     Civil twilight is at 5:45 am and Sunrise is at 6:17 am.  The drivers meeting will be at 5:45 am on Saturday and the blast off at 6:00 am with the weigh in at 3:00 pm.  Sunday tournament hours will be from 6:00 am until 1:00 pm.    If you are planning on fishing up the Willamette or in Oregon waters a Oregon license will be necessary.  Be extremely cautious of Barge wakes!  Salmon Fishing season will be open so be cautious around the salmon fishermen also.   

The fish will be in their summer patterns and related to current flows, islands and the wing dams.  Since this pool is a tidal pool you can expect the fishing to be best at high tide and tide changes so consult the tide tables to get this information.
