Big Fish: no claim
Program activity: Ron from interstate batteries
spoke about a new battery coming out this
spring, The "High cycle life" for marine use. He
instructed us to use a maintenance charged over
periods of no use. Discussed proper charging
techniques and fielded questions from the club.
He distributed information packets to
attendants. Don't add acid to the battery cells
only distilled water. The acid does not
evaporate so only the water is needed to refill
a low cell.
Tips Tactics and tech: Joe advised us to put a
master switch on your boats
electronic accessories to stop voltage drain. he
also showed us how to tie a seaguar knot used to
tie 2 lined together. Joe also provided all
attendees with fizzing needles and instructions
on how to fizz bass. Joe did a presentation on
how to maintain reels and provided us with
brushes to do the maintenance. Joe suggests to
use "Hot Sauce" lube on the reels & Abu
Garcia grease.
