July 10, 2002 Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 7:06 PM and adjourned at 8:15 PM. There were no special guests.
Program Activity: Joe Schepperle talked about battery maintenance and
referenced the website ibst.com (Interstate Batteries) for more info.
Raffle: The raffle generated $48.
Treasurer’s Report: Ken
Ganancial reported a balance of $529.87.
Minutes:
The minutes were approved as posted on the Internet.
Conservation Report:
Doug Jorgensen will call on a weekend for our enhancement project time on Banks
Lake. We will try for September.
Federation Report: No
report
Tournament Report:
Eric Woods reported on the Lake Whatcom
tournament (results posted on the website).
A motion was made and passed by a vote of 14 to 4 to make the August 10th
Lake Washington tournament a day tournament. Discussion centered around
safety on Lake Washington at night. New hours will be Saturday
August 10th from 6am to 3pm. The drivers meeting will be at
5:30 am.
There was a motion made to not be able to change a tournament within one month of the tournament date. The motion failed by a vote of 10 to 7.
Safety: Bring in your boating safety certificates!
Old Business: Blaine updated the club on the 1st Annual Kid’s Day Picnic on Duck Lake
Saturday July 20th. 8 AM – 4:30 PM.
New Business: No New Business.
