Crow Butte
The only reasonable place to stay for the September 7-8
club tournament is at the state park. Make your reservations
well in advance to ensure you get in. There are no nearby motels.

here. There is a daily $5 launch fee and no gas for over 20
miles. Fill up before arriving.
Lake Washington
Federation Qualifier
The club finished in 8th place at the June
Federation Qualifier tournament on Lake Washington.
Both largemouth and smallmouths were on the beds and those that found
bedding fish weighed big bags. Individually, Eric Woods finished
in 18th place helped by a 10# 5 fish limit on day 2. The
tournament was won by Ron Hobbs Jr. with over 35 #'s and a great 20+
pound bag on day 2.

Whatcom Results
We had 28 members and guests fish the two day
Lake Whatcom tournament. The weather was great, the boat launch a
zoo, the majority of fish were caught on beds and everyone caught
fish. There were 88 fish caught weighing 162.89 pounds and 10 limits
on day
1. That was an average of 1.85 pounds per fish and 9.3 fish per
hour. On day 2 there were 3 limits and 61 fish caught weighing 111.23
pounds. That was an average of 1.82 pounds per fish and 8.1 fish per
hour. Congratulations to Ken Ganancial for first place, Mike Buse
for second and Tom Melowitz for third place and big fish at 4.2

Yamamoto Product
Jim Littrel, from J & B Lures, has indicated
that he can get the club a giant discount on Yamamoto product if we by at
least $900 in product. The normal price for Yamamoto product is
$5.95 per package. If we buy $900 worth the price will be
approximately $3.35 per package. Please contact Tom Melowitz
by phone or email with quantity, color and type if you are interested in
participating. As soon as we have people signed up for $900 the
order will go in.
