June 9, 2004 Meeting Minutes

The meeting began at 7:05 PM and adjourned at 8:30 PM. There were no special guests. No one claimed the big fish pot.

Program Activity: None

Tips, Tactics and Techniques: Doug Jorgensen talked about fishing with braided line. Marv Walker is next in July.

Raffle: The rafffle generated $66.

Treasurer’s Report: Mike Buse reported a balance of $1557.06 with state team entry fees paid..

Minutes: The minutes from May were accepted as posted on the Internet.

Banquet Report: No report.

Conservation Report: No report.

Safety: Larry Williams talked about inspecting your inflatable life vests.

Federation Report: Chuck Warner talked about the Banks Lake Federation Qualifier in June.

Tournament Report: The hours for the Duck Lake tournament are: Saturday 6 am to 3 pm and Sunday 6 am to 1 pm. We will be launching out of Mossey Rock park for the Riffle Lake tournament. The club took 4th place at the Jamboree.

Old Business: The September tournament has officially moved to Crow Butte. Joe Scheperle has reserved some campsites.

New Business: Wes Williams was voted in as a regular member.

Klutz nominations: Tom was nominated for not unbuckling his tie downs and for dragging his skag at the Jamboree. Tom was nominated for launching his boat without removing his motor-toter. Mike Buse and Joe Perrin were nominated for dragging their skag at the ramp. Larry Guck was nominated for throwing his rod in the water.
