June 8, 2011 Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM and adjourned at 9:10 PM. No
one claimed the big fish pot. Nick Culver was our special guest who is
interested in joining and was buddied up with Tim Griswald.
Program Activity: None.
Tips,
Tactics and Techniques:
Luke Morgan talked about a
sportsmen like conduct on the water as a boater and non-boater. He
believes a boater should pay attention to who is around and the water they are
fishing. Don't cut people off and invade their area. Try to keep
your wake down when coming into an area. He would also like to see more of
the boaters in the club giving back seats to new guys in the club and being mentors
to the new members. Non Boaters should make sure to ask questions when out
on the water. That's a quick way to learn new information and techniques.
Be courteous in the boat, help with gas and or travel, be clean, don't step on
seats. And to everyone make sure and help people on the water in need.

Treasurer’s Report: Wayne Bailey
reported a balance of
$1950.37 with no outstanding debts.
Minutes: The minutes from May were accepted as posted on the Internet.
Banquet Report: No report.
Conservation Report:
Since Chris has been absent Russ Kroeker has filled in to figure out a way
to complete our conservation hours for the year.
Safety: No report
Federation Report: The next Federation Tourney is on the 25th
at Roosevelt.
Tournament Report:
Pateros has been
canceled and moved to Lake
Washington. We are launching out of Coulon on the 18th and 19th.
Luke Morgan was victorious on Tapps. Drop shots were his go to
on Saturday on docks
and stumps. As the weather changed for the worse
on Sunday he caught
them good on spinnerbaits first thing in morning and then went back to drop
shot later in the day.
