May 12, 2004 Meeting Minutes
 

The meeting was called to order at 6:57 PM and adjourned at 9:15 PM.  No one claimed the big fish report.  Special guest Dick Streater talked about and showed a bunch of antique and comical fishing products.

Program Activity:  None

Tips, Tactics and Techniques:  A.J. Juhl showed a video of the day of a tournament fisherman starring Blaine Wesner.

Raffle:  The club made $48 from the raffle.

Treasurer’s Report:  Mike Buse reported a balance of $2321.06 with the state team entry fees yet to be paid.

Minutes:  The minutes from April were accepted as posted on the Internet.

Banquet Report:   No report.

Conservation Report:   Larry Guck reported that nine people went over to Banks Lake for the enhancement project.  We will try again in October for the final stages.

Safety:  Have a safe boat.  Check your safety equipment.

Federation Report:  Chuck Warner reported that we will be providing tackle packs for the  Casting Kids at the Jamboree.

Tournament Report:  Joe Scheperle and  Larry Williams discussed the big sack dilemma from the Potholes tournament.  The Club passed a motion by Tom Melowitz for the club to match the pot and pay both anglers involved.  Potholes results:  Ken Ganancial 1^st,  Rick Knauer 2^nd, and Marv Walker 3^rd.  There were no fishing reports volunteered from club members. 

Old Business: The club passed a motion to move the September 18-19 club tournament from Tri Cities to Crow Butte.

New Business:  None
