May 11, 2011 Meeting Minutes

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm and adjourned at 9:05 pm.  No one claimed the claimed the Big Fish Pot.   There were no special guests.

Program Activity:  None

Tips, Tactics and Techniques:  Luke Morgan was absent, so he is still on for next month.

Raffle:  The  raffle made $85.

Treasurer’s Report:  Wayne Bailey reported a balance of $1852.34.

Minutes:  The minutes from April were accepted as posted on the Internet.

Banquet Report:   No report.

Conservation Report:  No report

Safety:   No Report

Federation Report: Eight  members fished the Federation Qualifier at Chelan. The water was very low leaving a lot of the good structure out of water. The fish were relating to isolated rock piles on breaklines.  There was a good reaction bite in morning. Tubes and football heads produced later in the day.  Travis Archer made it through the ruff weekend on Hood River for the divisional.  He finished 18th overall as a backseater.  Good job!

Tournament Report:  Mike Hostetter won on Roosevelt. Green pumpkin tubes and rattletraps were his go to baits. Don't forget about the Jamboree on Banks memorial day weekend. Chris and Dez talked about there trip to Tennessee.

Fishing Report:  Fish are on the move and starting to bed and relate to prespawn areas.

Old Business: Club logo and Hoodies: Logos are ready to go. T-shirts are 9-15$, Hoodies are 20--30$. Team jackets are still up for discussion.

New Business:   No New Business

Klutz nominations:  Micheal Coffey was nominated for the klutz award for loosing his shirt and glasses at Roosevelt because he couldn't remember where he left them.
