Mickelsen 2003 Results
We had 24 entries in the 2003 Bob Mickelsen Memorial
tournament. The weather was great and we generated $1700 for
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital as well as more than 24 toys for the kids.
Many thanks to the sponsors, participants and club members that worked to
make the tournament a success. Congratulations to the team of Rob
Towers and Mike Hostetter for 1st place with 13.07 #'s. Mike
Buse had the tournament big fish of 5.79 pounds.

Lake
Washington Results
We had 14 club members fishing the last
club tournament of the year on Lake Washington. The wind howled all
day and only 6 club members caught fish. Congratulations
to Ken Ganancial for 1st place , Frank White for second place and a
whopping 5.45 # big fish and Doug Jorgensen for 3rd place. It's
worth noting that there was a 100% bass tournament the same day where the
team of Brush and Petroski weighed a 5 fish limit of 25.71 pounds.

Yamamoto Products
Tom Melowitz is again
this year putting together an order to Yamamoto. Last year Joe Perrin and Mike Buse jumped in when I went to
Texas and helped out. We must buy a minimum
quantity of 5 for a style and color ordered. So unless someone else
orders the same thing as you ordered you will have to order a minimum
quantity of 5 for everything you order.

The tournament committee finalized the club
tournament lakes for 2004. Permits have been entered and
barring no conflicts at the November Federation conflict resolution
meeting the lakes and dates are:

October 23 - Bob Mickelsen Memorial on Lake Washington

2004 State Team
Based upon the results of the 7 club
tournaments the 2004 State Team will be:
Boaters: Tom Melowitz, Ken Ganancial, Mike Buse, Doug Jorgensen and
Bryan Vance. Non Boaters: Joe Scheperle, Larry Guck, Gerald
Dunn, Frank White and Kenn Brainerd. The alternate for 2004 is Art
Soto.
