2003 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm and adjourned at 8:40 pm. No one claimed the Big Fish pot. There were no special guests.
Program Activity: There was no program activity.
Tips,
Tactics and Techniques: Art
Soto talked about using thin diameter line.
Raffle: The raffle generated $61.
Treasurer’s Report: Mike
Buse reported a balance $933.06 with the cost of the Mickelsen trophies yet to
paid.
Minutes: The August minutes as
posted on the Internet were approved.
Conservation Report:
Larry Guck will investigate securing dates for structure planting at Banks Lake
for the Banks Lake Enhancement project and the clubs 2004 conservation activity.
Federation Report: Chuck
Warner can't make the September 20th meeting and needs an alternate. The
2004 fishing permit conflict resolution meeting will be November 15th at the
Federation meeting.
Tournament Report: Joe Scheperle reported on the Pot holes tournament
results. Kenny G talked about his winning technique. Chuck Warner
had big fish. The cook out and camping at Pot Holes was a big
success. Many thanks to Larry Guck, Ken Juhl and Joe Scheperle for their
cooking prowness.
Safety: Keep up on your boating safety certificates!
Old Business: The club voted on the proposal to raise the initiation
dues from $30 to $38. The increase in initiation dues passed.
New Business: The
2004 tournament committee of Joe Scheperle, Art Soto, Paul Jones, Rob Towers,
Mike Hostetter and Blaine Wesner was appointed at the September club meeting.
Their job is to pick 5 lakes and dates from the following list: Boyer
Park, Black, Tri Cities, Chelan, Lower Columbia, Boardman, Duck , Whatcom,
Roosevelt, Pot Holes, Banks, Goodwin, Ice Harbor, Silver and Riffe.
