October 2025 Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm

Meeting Minutes from September. They were not posted on the website and Monti read them.

Treasurer’s Report-Mark said we have $1851.00. Check from end of last year trophies is still not cashed. Club dues are due January 1st.  

Conservation-Nothing

Tournament Report-Rich took the win on Lake Sammamish. Bite was good on day one and got a lot tougher on day two. The smallmouth were deep (30-35 feet). Talk about moving Lake Washington earlier in the month for better weather.

Federation-No report.

Safety-Club members need to have navigation lights on and kill switches attached at blast off. Also brought up was that club members are required to have a boater education card and will colder weather upon us to bring dry clothes in the boat incase you get wet.    

Big Fish of the year pot-$20 buy in and winner takes all. Currently 10 members are in the pot and it is $200. Bobby is the current leader. Brandon caught the biggest fish, but he was not in the pot.

Fishing Reports-Rich talked about the California Delta. Brandon caught a 5 pounder on Cleat Lake. Doug and former club Member Luke Morgan took 4th at the Old Farts tournament on Potholes.

New Business-Bylaws proposed. Rich proposed that navigation lights be mandatory on blast off, minimum fishing distance from an other competitor be 50 years instead of 25, non boater minimum to pay their boater is $20 a day, and to remove most improved award.
